Recumbent Tadpole Trikes

I was listening to This Week in Tech this week and Leo Laporte was raving about his new Terra Trike Cruiser recumbent tadpole trike. I am pretty intrigued by this I have to admit, here's a video of a trike ride. Being low to the ground gives a greater sensation of speed and go cart like g-force in the corners. It also looks like fun and a lot more comfortable than a road bike which I have now. I certainly could use the exercise so I am very tempted to give one of these a go. I have been looking around and they are a bit spendy with prices starting at near a grand and rapidly going up from there. Right now I am leaning towards either a Terra Trike Tour or an Actionbent Artifice. I might have an inside line on a used Catrike from a friend of an in-law but not yet sure the model. Other brands are ICE, Recumbent USA, Greenspeed, KMX Karts, HP Velotechnik. Most of the vendors are european with Terra Trike being from Michigan. All of the trikes are at least partially made in Taiwan with some like Actionbent being designed and entirely made in Taiwan. Many people have very nice things to say about Terra Trike the company so I am leaning that way. Also read good things about Utah Trikes as a company. If you have tips info or links about trikes share below in the comments.
